Calling all kids! It's a Summer Hoot'Nanny! Come out and have some fun on Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 12 noon–5 pm at the Buckeye Recreation Center! Enjoy a day of wildlife fun and adventure for kids of all ages. Best of all, the festival benefits Genesis Wildlife Sanctuary! Genesis is a non-profit 501(c)(3) wildlife rehabilitation hospital and education center on Beech Mountain. The Hoot'Nanny will include live music from the Corklickers, a wildlife gameshow for kids ages 6–15, a petting zoo, birdhouse-building tent, wildlife demonstrations, face painting, door prizes, raffle, yummy food, and fun! In case of rain we will move the festivities inside the gymnasium, so come rain or shine. Tickets are $5.00 for kids and $10.00 for adults.
