Genesis does not currently rehab bears. We do not have a big enough facility for them (yet). But we do transport them to other facilities when called to do so. This is jasmine a female bear 50 lbs born in the Spring of 2009. Jasmine was hit by a car in Boone and suffered a head injury. She came out of her coma and slowly started walking again and has regained her appetite and strength. We are transporting her to a private rehab facility and are hopeful for her recovery. The red collar is only temporary. She is getting to be a real handful!
